The creation of affordable housing was essential before this pandemic, and it is essential now even with California’s Shelter in Place order. We want to assure our partners that there is no change to our commitment to continue to lend the flexible and unique capital provided by Housing Trust.
As we all know, families and individuals who are the most vulnerable and the most impacted by this crisis need our help more than ever. Our multifamily lending team has the tools to work remotely and the capacity to move things forward – both to honor existing commitments as well as extend financing to new projects.
On behalf of our entire team, I am proud to tell you we are as committed to our mission as ever before. We’ve already extended the deadline of the Apple Fund RFP to April 9 are still continuing with all of our multifamily lending work. You are welcome – as you always have been – to contact us if you need us.
