Homeownership Assistance

We believe when people can both live and work in their community, our lives are healthier, richer and happier.

Housing Trust manages two down payment assistance programs – Empower Homebuyers SCC, which we administer for the County of Santa Clara, and the Homebuyer Empowerment Loan Program (HELP), which is our own program. Both programs are designed to assist longtime renters – including employees at nonprofits, teachers, healthcare professionals, county and city employees, and other working professionals – with purchasing their first home.
