Funded by the 2016 Measure A Affordable Housing Bond, The Santa Clara County’s Empower program provides down payment assistance loans to first-time homebuyers with up to 30% ($250,000 cap) purchase price on a home within the county. This program is available for households who have low to moderate incomes allowing them to save thousands of dollars. Empower has changed the lives of many hard-working individuals like teachers, healthcare professionals, Non-profit organization employees and many others who contribute to making Santa Clara County a great place to call home!
