Dr. Andrea Alexander

Dr. Andrea C. Alexander is a strategic finance executive with more than 25 years of experience leading financial operations, organizational strategy, and administrative services across nonprofit organizations and higher education. She has extensive expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, capital planning, risk management, governance, and operational leadership.

Most recently, Dr. Alexander served as Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services for California Community Colleges, where she oversaw financial operations, administrative services, and more than $615 million in capital projects to include the design and construction of 4 major building developments while maintaining a decade- long record of clean audits and strong fiscal stewardship. Throughout her career, she has partnered with executive leadership and governing boards to strengthen organizational sustainability, improve operational effectiveness, and ensure responsible stewardship of financial resources in support of mission-driven organizations.

Dr. Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, a master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago, and a Doctor of Education from Johns Hopkins University.
