Ulises Aleman joined Housing Trust Silicon Valley as a Loan Officer in June 2023. In this role, he will help underwrite predevelopment, acquisition, and bridge-loan financing to expand Housing Trust’s greater Bay Area footprint. Prior to joining the organization, Ulises worked as an affordable housing development consultant, supporting projects across the greater Los Angeles region. During this time, he secured over $60 million in public financing for clients’ projects and has contributed to the development of nearly 200 permanent supportive housing units. Prior to his experience in affordable housing development, Ulises was part of a union campaign to organize nearly 13,000 Graduate Student Researchers across the University of California system. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Development from U.C. Davis and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA.
