Algarve Rendering

Housing Trust has made a $3.4 million acquisition loan to Reed Community Partners, which is working in partnership with Allied Housing, Abode Services and the County of Santa Clara, for the future site of The Dahlia apartments in San Jose. The site on the corner of Santa Clara and 24th Street is projected to have 91 homes with about half aimed for permanent supportive housing, making the site in line with Measure A goals. The site is also a few blocks from Five Wounds National Parish, across from the East San Jose Carnegie Branch Library, and a few blocks from a supermarket and several restaurants. This is Housing Trust’s first loan to Reed  Community  Partners and continues our partnership with Abode Services, to whom we have made loans for other developments including Corvin in Santa Clara – and true to our shared history of utilizing partnerships to create affordable housing opportunities, Housing Trust participated a portion of the loan to Nonprofit Finance Fund.
