Housing Trust’s Investor Briefing is in two weeks, and we’re delighted to announce Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren is joining our lineup of distinguished speakers!
Lofgren represents California’s 19th district and is the Chairperson of the Committee on House Administration and Chair of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship. She currently serves on the House Judiciary Committee, the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress and the Committee on House Administration.
Zoe is well known for her work on immigration policy, patent reform, copyright issues, digital rights, and net neutrality. She is also the Chair of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation.Before being elected to the United States House of Representatives, Zoe was a member of Congressman Don Edwards’ staff for eight years. Afterwards, while she was practicing and teaching immigration law, she was elected to the San Jose Evergreen Community College Board. This was followed by being elected to and serving on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for 14 years.
Zoe is a Stanford University Alum and received her JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
