Celebrating the Grand Opening of Milestone Housing Group Del Corazon Apartments

We are thrilled to congratulate Milestone Housing Group and the dedicated partners on the grand opening of Del Corazon Apartments—City of Santa Rosa‘s newest affordable rental community! Del Corazon Apartments is a vibrant, thoughtfully designed community providing 77 beautiful homes for families. Earlier this month, our CFO and Head of Partnerships & Strategy, Julie Rosser Mahowald, joined Milestone, funders, community members, and new residents to celebrate this exciting addition to the neighborhood.

Representatives from the Roseland Public Schools and other local districts joined the festivities, thrilled that so many of their families now have a welcoming, affordable place to call home.

The development was named “Del Corazon” (“From the Heart”) by a local high school senior with a moving story behind its meaning, that this community reflects the heart and spirit of those who live and work here. The project offers family-friendly amenities, including an after-school center, sports court, playground, BBQ areas, and fitness facilities, fostering a true sense of community.

Del Corazon Apartments is also a model of sustainable climate resilient development, fully electric and powered by solar energy—estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 99 metric tons each year.

We’re proud to support Del Corazon through early-stage financing from our TECH Fund and the Sonoma County Housing Fund, a partnership with the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber. As our second collaboration with Milestone Housing in the North Bay, Del Corazon exemplifies our commitment to building resilient, mission-driven communities for families.
