When COVID-19 is behind us we will all commit to things that were postponed in the wake of the Shelter in Place. For many of us it is a long list – and for our organization we will happily present Linda Mandolini, President of Eden Housing, with the Housing Champion Award.
We have been checking in on Eden – you can too by following Eden Housing on Twitter – and we were especially touched at their post this week saluting their staff members who took part in National Volunteer Week – a reminder to all of us there is always a way to serve and help our neighbors. One such way is the Silicon Valley Strong Fund, which is still taking donations and the Silicon Valley Strong homepage remains a comprehensive clearinghouse of resources meant to help those most affected by job losses. It recently added the Digital Inclusion Fund intended to help students who may not have the hardware or Internet access they need for effective online learning. Thank you to Eden and to all partners of the Silicon Valley Strong fund for reminding everyone there are always ways to help.
