Investor Briefing 2017 sets new records

Investor Briefing 2017

A packed room of almost 500 guests and an all time high of on-the-spot donations set new records for Housing Trust Silicon Valley’s annual Investor Briefing. The event provided an overview of the current affordable housing situation in the region and generated more than $20,000 in donations from attendees.

The event kicked off with Housing Trust CEO Kevin Zwick’s annual address, which included the launch of Housing Trust’s TECH Fund – a new investment campaign that will help spark development of thousands of multifamily rental homes. Maria Jimenez, property manager at Charities Housing’s Met North shared inspiring stories of some of the families lucky enough to win the lottery for an apartment there. Next up was the presentation of the Housing Champion Award to Santa Clara County Supervisors Dave Cortese and Cindy Chavez, followed by the keynote delivered by Ben Metcalf, Director, California Department of Housing and Community Development.
