Congratulations to Community HousingWorks on securing financing for Bayline Apartments, a 110 unit, 100% affordable housing development in the City of Hercules. Housing Trust is pleased to support this project with a $1.6 M acquisition loan—our first loan with Community HousingWorks and also our first loan in the City of Hercules.

Thoughtfully designed with both community and sustainability in mind, Bayline Apartments will provide stable, affordable homes for families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Features will include a rooftop deck and over 3,000 square feet of shared space. Residents will receive complimentary WestCAT transit passes for the first three years, supporting sustainable, car-free mobility.

This development is located within the future “Hercules Hub,” a regional housing and transportation anchor that will include future ferry service and a new Capitol Corridor stop nearby—offering residents direct access to regional transit.

We’re proud to support this transformative development and excited to begin a new partnership with Community HousingWorks as we create more affordable housing solutions in the East Bay.
