We’re excited to announce Linda Mandolini, president of Eden Housing and a founding board member of Housing Trust, is the recipient of this year’s Housing Champion Award.
Linda’s history creating affordable housing throughout California is longer than our own: She joined Eden Housing as project developer in 1996 and soon became associate director of real estate development. She worked with Silicon Valley Leadership Group, one of Housing Trust’s founders, from 1999 to 2000 before returning to Eden to serve as director of real estate development before being named president in 2001.
Beyond her work growing Eden Housing’s list of affordable housing rental apartments – currently exceeding 11,000 homes – and helping bring several organizational accolades to the organization, she is a force on the legislative front and helped pass Proposition 46, Proposition 1c, and Propositions 1 and 2. She’s also led local initiatives to help pass Measure A and Measure A1 in Santa Clara and Alameda County, respectively.

It is gratifying to be recognized by an organization that serves as a national model for public and private partnerships in solving the region’s affordable housing problem,” Linda Mandolini told Housing Trust. “Eden Housing wouldn’t be able to do our work without the Trust. Thank you to all who have helped make it possible for the Trust to create homes for so many in our community.”
Linda will be presented the Housing Champion Award at our Investor Briefing at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
