The ground floor will have management offices and a large multipurpose community room next to a parking garage, with apartments above.
Embark Apartments’ proximity to transit – including the downtown Berkeley BART station – as well as services lends itself to veteran housing, supportive housing and transit-oriented development, all top funding priorities for the state and the city. The location is also very close to Eucalyptus Grove/Grinnell Natural Area, the Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, and the UC Berkeley campus.
