We had an action-packed day last week hosting Project Destined fellows from the Affordable Housing Bridge Program as they visited Housing Trust Silicon Valley. The program connects diverse college students to nonprofit and for-profit affordable housing leaders and practitioners nationwide. Meeting the students and exploring their passion for the affordable housing industry was super fun, inspiring, and thoroughly engaging. Our HT colleagues were more than happy to share our background and career journeys to this rewarding, impactful work.
We also had a lot of fun collaborating on the Build Back the Block Activity and going for a site visit at PATH’s Villas on the Park, an #AffordableHousing community in our downtown San Jose neighborhood. Thank you to everyone involved for the opportunity to share our passion for affordable housing with these amazing future leaders!
